Our DIY Family Sabbatical

Do you dream of taking a year off work to see the world with your kids? In 2023, when my daughter was in the 9th grade, I decided it was now or never. We packed one carry-on bag each, and headed off for the adventure of a lifetime. We visited 12 countries on three continents in six months. I’d do it again in a second – well, maybe not quite all of it.
